Lester's Sports Bar & Grill is the brainchild of Lester Miller. This energetic entrepreneur exudes personality– just like his restaurant. Lester’s attention to detail and his insistence on only the highest quality dictate the food, the décor and the professionalism of the staff.
"I wanted something different, something unique,” says Lester, “a menu offering the best East Coast flavor and an atmosphere to satisfy the biggest sports fans. I believe we've accomplished both!"
It is not your typical sports bar. The focus is definitely on sports, but the food gets equal billing.
Lester’s opened in Ladue in April of 2007. It features an amazing video system with 50+ High Definition TVs, clean, tastefully decorated bar and dining areas, lots of sports memorabilia and outstanding service. The bartenders are topnotch, the wait staff friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is always delicious.
How seriously does Lester take his menu? In order to capture the authenticity of a genuine East Coast deli, Lester sent his head chef to train with the former proprietor of NYC’s famous Carnegie Deli. It’s why our Hot Corned Beef and Reuben the Great sandwiches are second to none in St. Louis.
There are no shortcuts in Lester’s kitchen. Everything is homemade, from the salad dressings to the sides. Lester’s “applewood smokes” all of its meats in-house daily, makes and bakes its own bread and prepares all menu items fresh from scratch. We brine our own meats and smoke our baby back ribs for four-and-a-half hours.
